本調査は,震災から約3年を経た時点で人々の仕事や生活などの変化を知るために,東京大学社会科学研究所を中心に行ってきた研究プロジェクト「希望学」(正式名称は「希望の社会科学」)によって2014年2月に実施された。
本調査は,東日本大震災の経験が人々の希望にもたらした影響を明らかにするものである。

This survey was carried out in February 2014, by the Hope Studies (official name is The Social Science of Hope, kibogaku) project, a research project of the Institute of Social Science at the University of Tokyo, in order to understand changes that had occurred in people's work and lives approximately in three years after the earthquake.This survey clarifies the effects that the Great East Japan Earthquake had on people's hopes.
