Following these trends, the personnel management system is transforming itself. The changing system, coupled by the corporate reinforcement of meritocracy and performance, has brought a sharp rise in the number of corporate employees, especially white-collar workers, who attempt to acquire various licenses and qualifications. This survey was conducted for the objective of clarifying the current state of such efforts among white-collar workers, college students and others who study at a vocational school. It is expected to provide a set of valuable data to look over the future of the relationship between companies and white-collar workers as well as of the personnel management and labor market of white-collar workers which are formed on the basis of the
