By feeding the results back to activities toward the reduction of working hours as promoted by the JCU and its affiliated unions, it aims to contribute to improving the overall working conditions.In November every year, JCU conducts a survey with approximately 10,000 union members to gather information on their working hours. Since 1972, this survey has shed light on the work environment in the construction industry for over 43 years now, while adapting the content of the questions to suit changes in society. This is the most extensive and consistent survey on white-collar workers in the construction industry.This survey is centered on questions about the \"working hours and the attraction of the construction industry,\" which are asked every year through the questionnaire survey on the reduction of working hours. This edition also includes questions concerning the attitudes toward life, which is surveyed once every three
