JLPS-H）は，東京大学社会科学研究所全所的プロジェクト研究「失われた10年？―90年代日本をとらえなおす」連携プロジェクト「教育と労働市場の変容」（2000～2006年）（研究代表者　石田浩）が出発点である。その後，厚生労働科学研究費補助金政策科学推進研究事業「若年者の就業行動・意識と少子高齢社会の関連に関する実証的研究」（2004～2006年度）（主任研究者　佐藤博樹・東京大学社会科学研究所）として，独自に実施されたアンケート調査である。\n\n 　本調査の目的は，少子高齢社会の到来の中で現役世代を担う若年層の進路行動・意識・価値観の実態を把握するとともに，彼らの行動や意識の変化を追跡できるパネル調査を実施して明らかにすることにある。具体的には，若年者の(1)学校在学中の生活と意識，(2)学校から職場への移行のパターン，(3)就業行動（非正規雇用，転職など），(4)意識・価値観の変化，の4つのテーマを取り扱う。\n\n 　このような目的により，本調査は次のような2つの特色を備えている。第一に，高校生を在学中に調査するだけでなく，卒業後も追跡し，高校生の進学・就業行動，意識，価値観についてライフコースの中で総合的に捉えようとしている。第二に，調査設計の段階で国際比較を念頭におきつつ調査項目を作成することで，より厳密な国際比較研究を目指している。\n\n 　本調査は，既に公開されているwave1の調査（PH010）に回答した高校生に対する，卒業後2年目の追跡調査（wave3）である。卒業後1年目の追跡調査（wave2）も，PH020としてすでに公開されている。\n\n 　本調査では、回答者は以下の4つの調査票のうち，いずれか1つを選択し回答している。\n\n 　・調査票A（何らかの職業についている方（学生アルバイトを除く）用）\n 　・調査票B（短大・専門学校・職業訓練校のいずれかに通っている方用）\n 　・調査票C（4年制大学に通学している方用）\n 　・調査票D（通学も就労もしていない方（浪人も含む）用）\n\n 　なお，本調査はパネル調査として設計されているため，2005年以降にも毎年継続して調査を実施している（ただし2007年を除く）。","subitem_1551255592625":"ja"},{"subitem_1551255577890":"The Japanese Life Course Panel Survey of High School Graduates (JLPS-H) started as a large-scale survey for the “Transformation of education and the labor market” project (2000-2006), a sub-project of the institute-wide joint research project of the Institute of Social Science (ISS) at The University of Tokyo, “The Lost Decade?: Reconsidering 1990s’ Japan” (principal investigator: Hiroshi Ishida). The survey was carried out later as part of “The empirical study of the relationship between employment behavior, the consciousness of young people, and the aged society with a low birth rate” (2004 - 2006) (senior researcher: Hiroki Sato, ISS, The University of Tokyo), a Policy Science Promotion Research Project funded by a Health and Labour Sciences Research Grant (from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare).\n\nThe purpose of this survey is to understand the career behavior, attitudes, and values of young people who will become the working generation during the advent of an aging society with a low birth rate. The research will follow the changes in young people’s behavior and consciousness by conducting a panel survey. The survey addresses four topics: (1) the life and attitudes of young people while they are in school, (2) patterns of transition from school to workplace, (3) employment behavior (non-regular employment, changing jobs, etc.), and (4) changes in their consciousness and values.\n\nFor this purpose, the survey investigates high school students, while they are enrolled and after graduation, to capture comprehensively their advancement to university or their employment behavior and their consciousness and values during their life course. Second, the survey design incorporates items that are amenable to international comparisons, increasing its utility for rigorous international comparative research.\n\nJLPS-H, Wave 3 is composed of a follow-up survey to JLPS-H, Wave 1 (PH010), which surveyed respondents from JLPS-H, Wave 1, two years since their high school graduation.
