For the purpose, the Group has advanced from the conventional, macro notion of industrial clusters of small companies into an analysis of the functions and characteristics of individual clusters. For the same purpose, it has also conducted research study of networks within individual clusters, conditions for and processes of network formation, the current state and role of such networks as well as similar cases for comparative purposes. This survey was conducted as part of the Group's
