At a macro level, with the softening economy and service economy, there has been a remarkable enhancement including business diversification, introduction and utilization of ME systems, responding to globalization, and aging of employees. Additionally, at a micro level at a workplace, changes occur, such as new diverse occupations and employment status, generation gaps in the social awareness, emergence of women in the workplace, changes in career consciousness, increase in the foreign workforce and well-educated employees, and various kinds of stress that lead to changes in labor management. Under these situations, the factors are considered ripples or wavelets that are not clearly perceived by individuals or the workplace. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to investigate these ripples or wavelets from the perspective of vertical and horizontal human relationships in the workplace. This research consisted of a company survey and an individual
