This study was conducted for the purpose of acquiring as much empirical data as possible. This study will serve as valuable historical data as the integrated selection systems are abolished.\n\nThis survey drew comparisons, particularly between the rapidly disappearing integrated selection systems and the widely observable single-school-testing-type independent selection systems, as to what effects high school entrance exam systems have to junior high school students’ academic-path consciousness and their daily activities.\n\nThe question items mainly consisted of junior high school experience, the actual situation of behavior in daily life, living condition, high school entrance path, desired future path, attitude toward high school currently attending, and attitude to various
