However, contents of support provided by the managers of existing small- and medium-size companies are not fully grasped. By discovering the contents of support given by the managers of existing small- and medium-size companies to those who are starting up new business, why they give support and what they think of the support they give, this survey aims to clarify the contents of support given by the managers of existing small- and medium-size companies in the context of business start-ups, and to find out necessary environment and conditions to stimulate support from the managers of small- and medium-size companies in the
