With the increase in elderly people living alone, it is important to promote the reconstruction of communities by revitalizing local activities to ensure the safety and security of elderly people living alone and prevent isolation. To that end, this survey aims to contribute to the promotion of related policies in the future by understanding and analyzing the attitudes and needs of the elderly living alone with a focus on their worries and concerns about life and the state of intergenerational support in the communities.\n\nA previous survey was conducted in 2002.\n\nThis survey was constructed with the following six survey items: (1) matters related to feelings of happiness and anxiety, (2) matters related to interactions with others, (3) matters related to purchasing goods/bank transfer scams, (4) matters related to going out/outpatient hospital visits, (5) matters related to preparing for the future, and (6) matters related to enjoyable
