　また，同時に行われた「介護労働者の就業実態と就業意識調査」は，指定訪問介護事業所で働く介護労働者を対象に，その雇用及び勤務形態の実態並びに介護労働者としての業務及び労働条件に関する問題意識を把握し，介護労働者の労働条件確保のための基礎資料を得ることを目的として実施された。\n\n survey is comprised of two surveys: the “Fact-finding survey on long-term care work in workplaces” and the “Survey of long-term care workers’ employment situation and employment attitudes” which were carried out by Care Work Foundation in 2006.The “Fact-finding survey on long-term care work in workplaces” was carried out for the purpose of delineating issues regarding the work environments of workers in the long-term care industry, through the investigation and analysis of aspects such as the state of care worker employment, wages and wage systems, and the state of human resources recruitment and retention in long-term care facilities to produce basic information for use in improving employment management in such facilities.The “Survey of long-term care workers’ employment situation and employment attitudes” was carried out at the same time targeting care workers working in designated long-term care facilities for the purpose of clarifying the state of employment and work systems and their views on issues relating to their work and working conditions to produce basic information for use in recruiting and retaining care workers and improving their working conditions.The “Fact-finding survey on long-term care work in workplaces” (hereinafter, [Workplace Survey]) has been conducted every year since 2002 (Heisei 14) and the \"Survey of long-term care workers’ employment situation and employment attitudes” (hereinafter [Worker Survey]) has been conducted every other year.In 2006, the survey was positioned as an “Expanded fact-finding survey on long-term care work (conducted every three years),” with changes including a major increase in respondents and reconsideration of survey methods and content. In particular, a number of additions were made to the survey items to obtain more detailed insights. For the workplace survey, these included “conditions in employment management, conditions in wage systems and wage management, conditions in education and training, and conditions in welfare and benefits”; for the worker survey, they included “hours of work, wages, welfare and benefits, attitudes to work, and concerns, anxieties, and dissatisfactions at
