However, many of these past studies were aimed at large companies and relatively large-scale small- and medium-sized companies, mainly dealing with collaboration in technology research and product development. Therefore, here, we will administer a questionnaire for small companies that have done business with Japan Finance Corporation (JFC) and determine the overall picture of cooperation by small companies with universities from the two perspectives of utilization of universities and cooperation with universities.\n\n　In this survey, “university” includes universities, junior colleges, and colleges of technology.\n　“Collaboration with universities” is divided into “university utilization” and “collaboration with universities” and further divided into three items.\n　<University utilization>\n ”Development planning” --- product/service joint development and planning consultation\n ”Evaluation outsourcing” --- product/service evaluation outsourcing\n ”Management consultation” ---
