The desire for junior high school entrance exams is thought to significantly affect both their lives at school and their lives out of school.\n\nAccordingly, this survey was conducted using a questionnaire on children in Tokyo and their parents and aimed to capture the state of entrance exams for junior high school. Specifically, it investigated details of the background/motivation behind choosing junior high school entrance exams, acceptance and response to the double life of going to elementary school and
