It answered positively to at least one of the following three options in response to a question on its relationship with social problems:1) The company was founded to solve social problems.2) The company runs a business to solve social problems despite it not being the main objective of the corporation.3) The company runs a business that supports another company or group that solves social problems.2. The following four types of social problems were considered:1) Problems related to social exclusion (problems that drive one away from society such as poverty, incapacity to find a job due to physical or mental conditions, incapacity to receive education, and others)2) Problems related to regional communities (local problems such as depopulation, aging, child-rearing, a decrease in employment opportunities, lack of educational/cultural facilities)3) Problems related to the global environment (international problems such as global warming, protection of the ozone layer, maintenance of
