| 概要 | 21世紀に向けてわが国の雇用や職業の世界は大きな転換の過程に突入している。とりわけ，私たち日本人の働き方について，さまざまな分野から疑問が提起され，現在，その問直しの作業が始まっている。本調査は，こうした職業世界における変化の方向性を見定めることを目的として，とくに職業と家庭生活の関係に焦点を置き，人々の職業キャリアやそれを支える家族の実態，さらに支援システムのあり方等について実態を明らかにしたものである。 本調査は，これまで2回にわたり実施してきた「職業移動と経歴調査」の継続調査であるが，今回はとくに職業と家庭生活の関係に焦点を当てており，男性調査，女性調査，及びそれぞれの配偶者調査を実施している。 Japan's employment and occupational world have entered a period of great transformation toward the 21st century. In particular, the Japanese way of working has been criticized from various quarters, and is now under scrutiny for reconsideration. This survey attempts to pinpoint the direction of such a change in the occupational world by focusing on the relations between occupation and home life. In doing so, it clarifies the current state of people's occupational careers and families and other systems to support them. While the survey represents the third and latest in a series entitled the Survey on the Occupational Mobility and Careers, it specifically deals with the home-occupation relationships and is directed to men, women, and their spouses. |

Also, 2,045 from men's spouses and 2,040 from women's spouses. |
