| 概要 | 本調査は、関西生産性本部の会員企業・労働組合から選ばれた委員によって構成される海外勤務者労働条件調査委員会が、1993年、94年に引き続き、1996年に実施した海外給与に関する調査である。調査の目的は、海外給与の動向を把握するに十分と見られる数の企業の協力を得て、そのモデル海外勤務者の給与を、月例海外支払い給与（現物給付の金銭換算を含む）、月例国内給与、インセンティブ手当、ハードシップ手当の合計額から、子女教育費の個人負担額を控除した海外勤務者総合給与（E給）という統一基準を用いて比較し、海外給与の決定方式の違いに関らず、国別に「世間相場」を明らかにすることである。また、1996年度調査では、海外払い基本給ほか各給与・手当の35歳モデルを100としたときの年齢・役職別の指数と、賞与の支給基準についても調査を実施した。指数比較のデータからは、モデル勤務者のE給を基準として、各企業のE給を年齢・役職別に推定することが可能である。世間相場の正確な把握なくしては、海外給与の正確な決定・改定はありえないが、海外給与の「全体像」を把握できる調査は、本調査が我が国では唯一のものである。 This is the third survey of salaries for Japanese employees working overseas, preceded by the 1993 and 1994 surveys. To conduct these surveys, a research committee on overseas employees' working conditions was formed by selected companies and unions affiliated with the Kansai Productivity Center. The objective has been to clarify "popular" salary rates for different countries by securing an enough number of companies (respondents) to grasp trends in overseas salaries and by comparing their salaries for a model employee. For such comparison, a common formula has been used to derive a comprehensive salary rate (called "E salary" here) for the model employee at each company, controlling the effect of wage determinants. The rate has been thus a sum of monthly overseas salary (with payment in kind translated in money terms), monthly domestic salary, and incentive and hardship allowances, minus private expenses for children's education. The 1996 survey has added another dimension to the study by deriving index of each type of salary and allowance as well as bonus for different age and title groups against a base 100 figure for the model employee of 35 years of age. Data derived by index comparison has enabled us to estimate E salaries for different age and title groups on the basis of the E salary level for the model employee. Without an accurate grasp of popular rates, it is impossible to determine and change overseas salaries accurately. Ours is the only survey in Japan that can show a "whole picture" of the salaries of Japanese employees working outside Japan. |
