| 概要 | 最近の若年者における失業率と転職率の高さの原因は何か。製造業などの安定的な職場が減少する一方でサービス業におけるアルバイトのような短期的で単純労働の雇用機会が増加したことによる産業構造の変化によるものか。または，理想や自己実現の機会を求めて転職を繰り返すという，いわゆる若年者特有の適職探索行動の現れか。今後は，アルバイトを専業として続ける人達をひとつのカテゴリーとしてとらえる必要があるのか。 そこで，アルバイトをしている若年者を取り上げ，どのような自分の職業人生を歩もうとしているのか，を明らかにしようとした。 本調査は，実際にアルバイト市場で働いている若年者が，自分をどのように規定しているのか，不安定就業者として自己規定しているのか，あるいはアルバイトを積極的なキャリア形成の一環として位置づけているのか，その意識を明らかにすることを目的としている。自発的アルバイトか，あるいは不本意な失業に限りなく近い形態での就業かを，本人の意識を通して明らかにしようとしたものである。 なお，ヒアリング調査も併せて行っている。 What is the reason behind the recent high unemployment rate and job turnover among young people? Is it caused by a change in the industrial structure, where there has been a decrease in the number of stable jobs such as jobs in the manufacturing industry, and there has been an increase in short-term, routine jobs, including part-time jobs in service industries? Alternatively, is it an indication of the job-seeking activities of the youth, that is, young people continue to change jobs to seek their ideal and achieve self-realization? Is it necessary to group people who continue to work as part-time employees into one category from here on? Therefore, we tried to understand how young people with part-time jobs manage their careers. The purpose of this study is to examine if young people working as part-time employees perceive themselves as temporary employees or view their part-time jobs as contributors to their career development. By using self-response questionnaires, the study tried to clarify whether young people working as part-time employees chose the current working conditions voluntarily or because of involuntary unemployment. Interviews were conducted as well. |
