| 概要 | 社会階層と社会移動全国調査，別名SSM（Social Stratification and Social Mobility）調査は，日本で最も伝統のある大規模な社会調査の一つで，1955年の第1回調査（日本社会学会による）以来10年ごとに実施されている。 今回の1965年調査は第2回にあたる。 1965年SSM全国調査は，前回1955年調査同様，1980～81年度にSSMトレンド分析研究会により，職業・学歴・所得などの地位変数や地域・職業アスピレーションなどの変数について，調査原票にさかのぼって再コーディングを行っている。また，今回は70歳以上のサンプルが含まれているため，比較分析の観点から再サンプリングを行い，70歳以上を除外している。 SSJデータアーカイブが提供するデータは，再サンプリング及び再コードされたデータである。 The nationwide survey on Social Stratification and Social Mobility, also known as the SSM Survey, is one of the most traditional large-scale social surveys in Japan, and it has been carried out every ten years since the first survey in 1955 (by The Japan Sociological Society). This 1965 survey is the second of its series. In 1980-81, the SSM Trend Analysis Research Group recoded specific survey items from the original questionnaires used in the Social Stratification and Social Mobility Survey for 1955 and 1965. Recoded items included occupation, level of educational attainment, income, and other status variables, as well as region and occupational aspirations. In addition, respondents aged 70 years and older were originally included. To facilitate comparative analysis, resampling was carried out and those aged 70 years and older were excluded. The data available from the SSJ Data Archive is the resampled and recoded data. |
