| 概要 | 本調査は，京都大学の心理学および教育学の研究者が有機的に連携しながら，国際的に活躍する有為な人材育成のための拠点を形成することを目的として，2007年度から2011年度までの5年間にわたって教育・研究活動を展開してきた京都大学グローバルCOE「心が活きる教育のための国際的拠点」（拠点番号D－07）のプロジェクトの中心課題である幸福感国際比較研究として実施されたものである。状態としての「幸福」は，客観的に計量可能な「幸福度」（welfare，well-being）と，主観的に体験される「幸福感」（subjective well-being，happiness）とに大別することができ，それぞれについて測定可能な指標を構築する試みが行われてきた。本調査は，両者のうち幸福感の指標について改めて検討し，尺度を構成するとともに，それを用いて13か国のデータを取得して幸福感の国際比較を行うことを目的としている。調査対象は，日本，韓国，中国，南アフリカ，オーストラリア，ニュージーランド，英国，ドイツ，スペイン，カナダ，アメリカ，メキシコ，ブラジルの13か国であり，それぞれの使用言語である日本語，韓国語，中国語，英語（南アフリカ・オーストラリア・ニュージーランド・英国・カナダ・アメリカ），ドイツ語，スペイン語（スペイン・メキシコ），ポルトガル語（ブラジル）の7言語の調査票を用いて，インターネット調査により行われた。 This survey was conducted as international comparative research on the sense of happiness, which is the central issue of the projects of the Kyoto University Global COE Program “Revitalizing Education for Dynamic Hearts and Minds” (center no. D-07), which has carried out educational and research activities in the five years from 2007 to 2011, with the aim of establishing centers for the development of capable, internationally active human resources, amid organic collaborations between Kyoto University psychology and pedagogy researchers. The state of “happiness” can be broadly divided into objectively quantifiable “welfare” or “well-being” and subjectively experienced “subjective well-being” or “sense of happiness,” and attempts have been made to construct measurable indicators for each. This survey aims to reexamine indicators for subjective well-being among them and compose a measuring tool, and then use the tool to acquire data from 13 countries for a cross-national comparison of subjective well-being. The survey samples are 13 countries (Japan, South Korea, China, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, and Brazil), and questionnaires in the 7 languages used in these countries (Japanese, Korean, Chinese, English (South Africa/Australia/New Zealand/United Kingdom/Canada/United States of America), German, Spanish (Spain/Mexico), and Portuguese (Brazil)) were used to conduct an online survey. |
