These are among the recent changes in the female work force. And it is argued that behind these changes has been a shift in women\u0027s occupational and career orientations. Specifically, it has been pointed out that no more women wish to continue paid work than before while more women intend to re-employed or orient themselves to professional careers. This survey captures a real picture of and changes in women\u0027s occupational and career consciousness, and analyzes why they have such consciousness and why it is changing--by looking into their demographic characteristics and life consciousness in general. By doing so, the survey aims to estimate the future rate of female work force. The survey covers regular workers, non-regular workers, and non-workers, asking the three groups the fewest different questions possible.
