In addition to a fixed-point survey on workers’ perception of business confidence, cost of living, and work itself, the 32nd edition of this survey featured new items related to the “Perception and reality of working hours” as a semi-fixed-point observation survey (October fixed-point survey). This edition also included items concerning the “workplace situation and perception of the so-called ‘black companies,’” “awareness of workers’ rights and impression on labor unions,” “reliability of social security systems and consumption taxes,” and “voting behavior in the 2016 House of Councillors election.”Since the 21st survey (conducted in April 2011), a change was made from the previous mail access panel survey to an Internet-based web access panel survey to expand the number of survey targets.
