| 概要 | 本調査は，日本の景気動向や仕事と暮らしについての勤労者の認識を定期的に把握することによって，景気・雇用・生活の動向を明らかにするとともに，政策的諸課題を検討するにあたっての基礎的資料を得ることを目的としている。 2001年4月に第1回調査を開始して以降，毎年4月と10月に定期的に調査を実施し，今回の調査は第8回目にあたる。なお，以前の調査もSSJDAに収録している。 今回のトピックスは労働時間，賃金不払い残業（いわゆるサービス残業）の状況，2004年7月の参議院選挙の投票行動について行っている。 今回の調査では，景気は減速感をともないながらも改善基調にあること，消費態度も改善していること，他方，賃金面の回復には至っていないこと，人員削減を内容とした不況対策や失業不安は低下傾向にあること，また，ここ1年間の賃金不払い残業の削減が必ずしも十分に進んでいないことを明らかにしている。 This survey aims to clarify economic, employment, and living trends as seen from the perspective of workers and to obtain basic information with which to consider policy issues from the perspective of improving employment and quality of life. This is done by periodically exploring workers’ attitudes toward economic trends in Japan and their current state of work and living.The survey has been conducted regularly in April and October of every year since the first survey in April 2001, and this is the eighth survey. Previous surveys are archived in the SSJDA.Survey topics this time include working hours, situation of unpaid overtime (so-called service overtime), and voting behavior in the election of House of Councillors in July 2004.This survey clarifies that the economy is improving despite a sense of slow-down, and that consumer attitudes are also improving. On the other hand, wages have not recovered; recovery measures based on staff reduction and anxiety about unemployment are in decline; and furthermore, the reduction in unpaid overtime has not necessarily reduced sufficiently over the past year. |

| 回収率 | 配布数 有効回答数 有効回収率 900 794 88.2％ なお，本調査は「民間企業に勤める雇用者」を対象としているが，モニター登録時点と調査時点での就業状態の変化により，雇用者でないサンプルが含まれる結果となっている。今回調査では，雇用者でないサンプルは34件あった。これを除く雇用者サンプルは760人，雇用者だけのサンプル回収率は84.4％になる。 Number of questionnaires distributedValid responsesValid response rate90079488.2%Please note that while the target subjects of this survey are “people employed in private companies,” responses included the ones from unemployed people.
