| 概要 | ベネッセコーポレーションでは，2006年6～7月に，日本国内で小学5年生を対象に「第4回学習基本調査」（SSJDA調査番号0710）を実施した。本調査は，東京以外にさらに東アジア2都市（ソウル・北京），欧米3都市（ヘルシンキ・ロンドン・ワシントンDC）において，日本国内とほぼ同じ内容の調査を行ったものである。 本調査の特徴は以下のようにまとめられる。 1. 国際都市間での小学生の学習実態・意識の違いを把握することができる 本調査は，東アジア・欧米の首都と日本（東京）の小学生の学習実態・意識の違いを把握することを目的として行っている。調査対象は日本の小学5年生相当の児童とし，調査項目は各国の教育課程・教育事情を考慮して多少の追加・削除をしているが，ほぼ同一の項目とし各都市の傾向が把握できるように配慮している。 2. 調査実施対象となる国の教育研究者が調査を実施し，分析している 本調査は，基本的にそれぞれの国の教育研究者が現地での調査を実施し，各都市の結果について分析している。ソウル・北京・ヘルシンキ・ロンドン・ワシントンDCの小学生の学習意識・実態を知る基礎的な資料といえる。 The Benesse Corporation conducted the “Fourth Basic Survey on Learning” (SSJDA SurveyNo. 0710) on fifth-grade elementary school students in Japan from June to July 2006. In addition to Tokyo, this survey was also conducted in two cities in East Asia (Seoul/Beijing) and three cities in Europe and the United States (Helsinki/London/Washington, DC), using almost the exact same content as in Japan. The characteristics of this survey may be summarized as follows: 1. To be able to understand differences in the actual situation of and attitude to learning among elementary school students among international cities The purpose of this study is to understand differences in the actual situation of/attitude to learning among elementary school students in capital cities in East Asia/Europe/the United States and Japan (Tokyo). The survey sample consisted of students who were the equivalent of fifth-year elementary school students in Japan, wherein some additions/subtractions were made out of consideration of curricula/educational circumstances in each country. However, to understand trends in each city, most survey items were the same. 2. Education researchers in survey subject countries conducting surveys and analysis This survey was basically conducted on site by education researchers in each country, who then analyzed the results for each city. These are considered basic information for knowing the attitudes to and state of learning of elementary school students in Seoul, Beijing, Helsinki, London, and Washington, DC. |
