| 概要 | 日本学生支援機構は，2004年度に，大学院で第一種奨学金の貸与を受けた学生の3割を上限として，在学中に特に優れた業績を挙げた者を対象に，貸与期間終了時に奨学金の全額または半額の返還を免除することができる「特に優れた業績による返還免除制度」を導入した。 本調査は，免除認定者の社会での活躍状況を確認することにより，本制度の効果を検証するため，免除認定を受けてから5年を経過した者を対象として，現況等について行われた調査である。 The Japan Student Services Organization has introduced in 2004 a "repayment exemption system for outstanding performance" that allows up to 30% of the students who received a first-class scholarship loan for graduate studies and have made outstanding academic achievements to be released from repayment obligations for all or half of the loan scholarships at the end of the loan period. This survey was conducted to examine recipients’ current situation 5 years after obtaining the exemption certification to verify the system’s effect by investigating certified people’s active roles in society. |
