| 概要 | 世界の生産拠点としてのみならずマーケットとしての高い魅力から，外国企業によるアジア太平洋地域（APAC）への進出が活発である。こうした進出企業がAPACでのビジネスを成功させるには，各国・地域における労働法制や商慣行，また働く人々の志向・特性を十分理解した上で，採用・育成戦略を練ることが必要である。また、APACに限らない主要な諸外国と日本の就業実態を比較することは、日本の雇用・労働課題を検討する上で重要な知見となりうる。 そこで本調査では，APAC・欧米18の国・地域の主要都市の人々の働く実態や意識，仕事に対する意識，転職状況，働くことを通じた成長などを明らかにし，また，日本企業での就労イメージや働いてみたい国についても把握する。また、新型コロナウイルス（COVID-19）のパンデミックが就労者の意識や働き方に与えた影響についても把握する。 なお、本調査は「APAC就業実態・成長意識調査（APAC14か国・地域データ），2019」の継続調査（横断調査）となっており、多くの項目が同一であるため、経年変化を確認することが可能である。 Foreign companies are actively expanding into the Asia-Pacific region (APAC) not only as a global production base but also because of the region's strong market appeal. For these companies to succeed in doing business in APAC, it is necessary to develop recruitment and training strategies based on a thorough understanding of the labor laws and business practices in each country and region, as well as the preferences and characteristics of the workforce. In addition, a comparison of the employment situation in Japan with that in other major economies, not limited to APAC, can provide essential insights into Japan's employment and labor issues. Therefore, this survey will clarify the actual working conditions and attitudes toward work, the status of job change, and growth through working of people in major cities in 18 countries and regions in APAC, Europe, and the United States, and will also ascertain their images of working in Japanese companies and the countries in which they would like to work. We will also ascertain the impact of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on workers' attitudes and ways of working. This survey is a continuation (cross-sectional survey) of the " APAC Labor Market Status Survey (14 APAC Countries/ Regions' Data), 2019," and since many survey items are the same, changes over time can be confirmed. |

The number of samples differs slightly by country and region due to the fraction of respondents who answered "other than the above" or "do not want to answer" regarding gender. |
