| 概要 | 現代の子どもたちは子ども部屋の中に籠もったまま，傷ついた心をメディア相手に癒している感じがある。そうした子どもたちが，かつての子どもと比べてその特性を列挙してみると，(1)自然とのふれ合いに欠ける，(2)友だちがいない，(3)未来に夢を抱いていない，(4)体を動かすのが苦手，などが挙げられる。 現代の子どもたちはかつてと比べ，知っている知識は広がっていても，人間関係が狭く，体力面でも低下し，精神的にも自立が遅れているように思える。学年を考えるにあたっても，そうした子どもたちの成熟度を視野に入れて捉え直す必要性がある。 以上のように，近年子どもが変わったといわれ，これまでの発達段階の理論にははまりきれないような子どもたちの姿に，とまどいを覚えることも多い。そこで，現代の子どもたちの発達を特徴づけるものを明らかにすることを目的に行ったのが本調査である。 Today's children seem to confine themselves to their rooms, using the media to heal their wounded hearts. Modern children’s characteristics compared to those of the children of the past are (1) a lack of contact with nature, (2) a lack of friends, (3) a lack of goals for the future, and (4) a lack of physical activity. Today's children seem to be more knowledgeable than their predecessors, but their interpersonal relationships are fewer and shallower, they are less physically robust, and their mental independence is delayed. It is therefore necessary to reassess these children’s maturity level when considering grade levels. As described above, children are said to have changed in recent years, and many adults are often bewildered by children whose growth does not seem to follow the conventional developmental stages. Therefore, this survey was conducted to clarify the characteristics of today's children’s development. |
