| 概要 | 現代の生徒たちはどう生きたらよいのか悩んでいる。現在の中学生は理想とする生き方や尊敬する人物を見いだすことができずに，なんとなく漂流している感じがする。 現在の日本は，第二次世界大戦までの価値観を否定したのはよいが，経済の再興を優先させ，どう生きたらよいかというような価値の問題は配慮外にしてきた。民主社会の中でどういう生き方が望ましいかなどの議論は空洞化されたまま現在を迎えている。 バブル崩壊後の長引く不況の中，先行きが不透明な時代に生きる中学生は，どんな夢を持ち，どのように生きたいと思っているのか。彼等の物の考え方を知るために，情報メディアとの接し方に触れ，そして，将来像や職業観，人生観などの様々な意識について探っている。 Today's students are wondering how they should live. Modern junior high school students seem to be somewhat adrift in that they are unable to identify an ideal way of life or find a role model. While Japan’s rejection of the values it had up to World War II is a positive occurrence, it has prioritized economic revival to the neglect of values-related issues such as how to live. The debate on a desirable lifestyle in a democratic society is still ongoing. What do junior high school students aspire to, and how do they want to live in the uncertain times of the prolonged recession following the collapse of the bubble economy? In an attempt to understand their thinking, this survey explores how they interact with the information media and examines their various attitudes toward the future, their careers, and life. |
