This 1994 survey, the 30th of the kind, was carried out against the backdrop of a sustained expansion of new entrants straight from high schools-a phenomenon carried over from last year as a result of increases in the shares of women and recommended students. Hardest hit by the recession are the senior students facing job-finding difficulties. Their earnings from part-time work also sharply dropped.
