概要 | 高校入試は,かつての「偏差値」輪切りの厳しい時代から,今日では推薦入試や面接,作文の増加など,生徒の力を多面的にみる選抜方法を採用する割合が増えてきた。また一方では,「よい進学先⇒よい就職⇒幸せな人生」というシナリオが崩れ,生徒にとっての高校進学の意味も変化してきていることが予想される。こうした高校入試の制度的な変化と社会構造の変化は,中学3年生の高校進学への意識や行動にどのような影響を与えているのだろうか。 こうした問題意識を持ちつつ,今回の調査は,1988年に実施された調査(『モノグラフ・中学生の世界』Vol.30「高校進学~『15の春』の実態を探る~」)との比較を目的の1つに実施したものである。 1988年調査は,高校受験を終えたばかりの中学3年生に,高校受験についての意識を尋ねている。今回の調査もまったく同じ調査項目にオリジナル項目を一部加え,ほぼ同じ中学校に調査を依頼している。 High school entrance examinations have changed. In the past, students were selected based on their "deviation value"; today, more and more students are selected based on a multifaceted evaluation of their abilities, including recommendations, interviews, and essays. Additionally, confidence in the trajectory of "good schooling => good employment => happy life" has collapsed, and the meaning of high school education for students is expected to change as a result. How have these systemic changes in high school entrance examinations alongside changes in the social structure affected third-year junior high school students’ attitudes toward entering high school? In an attempt to answer the above question, this survey was conducted with the intention of comparing the results with those of a survey conducted in 1988 (Monographs: The World of Junior High School Students, Vol. 30, "Entering High School: Exploring the Reality of the 'Spring of '15'"). The 1988 survey asked third-year junior high school students who had just completed their high school entrance examinations about their attitudes toward the examinations. In this survey, we added some original items to the survey items that appeared on the 1988 survey and sampled many of the same junior high schools that originated the 1988 respondents. |
